Welcome to the new Beyoutiful Beauty!

new

Hey guys! Over the weekend I decided to go self-hosted with WordPress, and even though it was a bit of a process (because I suck at technology sometimes, not because of the process itself), I’m so happy I made the switch.

Saturday afternoon I met up with my friend Amanda from Notes from a Newlywed at Starbucks (free wi-fi. Yay!), and she really helped me work through self-hosting since she did it herself a few months ago. After working through a few glitches, I got my new site up and running at www.beyoutiful-beauty.com! I’m still playing around with a few things, like widgets and themes, so there may be some tweaking in the near future, but I was just excited to get this all up and running and let you guys know about it.

Blogger Basket Swap!

I just participated in my very first activity with other bloggers, and it was a Basket Swap. It was so much fun! I was paired up with two people, one of whom sent me a basket and one of whom I sent a basket to. Here is the basket I received from Bekah Walsh at Bekah’s Resolve! She gave me so many amazing beauty products (and chocolate!), and I can’t wait to try all of these out. I got excited so I took everything out of the box before I took a picture, sorry about that, but anyway here we go!

I can’t wait to try out all of these products! I haven’t tried anything that she sent me before, so it’s going to be super fun to experiment with some new products. Thanks so much, Bekah, for sending me such a great basket! I had a great time participating in this swap, and I definitely look forward to doing this again in the future 🙂
